Today’s stage highlights the differences between the landscapes of Norway and Sweden.

In just a few dozen kilometres, the countryside becomes less rugged, the houses change colour and the vegetation becomes denser. We follow minor roads and narrow tracks through a corner of Scandinavia very few tourists see.

This is an ideal occasion to stop and chat with local people, sometimes knocking on doors and inviting them to have their portraits taken. We feel like true “pros”, curious about other people’s lives but careful not to invade their privacy. This evening we submit two photos on each theme for appraisal by the next photo jury.
